Travbyen will be a neighbourhood with room for diversity – across age, interests and nationalities. With a varied housing supply and an ambition to attract a diverse group of residents, we want to embrace the Billund we already know as a global village, with more than 80 different nationalities. This is reflected in the vision for Travbyen, which is to be a neighbourhood where it is easy to find your place and make your mark.

The framework is ready – now it's up to you

In Travbyen, it is the residents who shape everyday life. We provide the framework with a community centre, neighbourhood rooms and green areas, but it is you who fill them. Do you have an idea for a cake club, communal dining or a knitting club? There is space – and plenty of neighbours.

We have also considered everyday community life. In the town office's co-working space, you can work close to home, but still be part of a social and professional environment. And with Playline, the green and playful heart of the neighbourhood, we invite activity, meetings and life between the houses.
