Many families and curious local residents stopped by Travbyen on Saturday, when the area around the urban gardens and the green heart set the scene for a day of nature, creativity and community.

On Saturday 6 June from 10am to 2pm, Travbyen invites children and adults to enjoy a lovely day of nature, creativity and sensory experiences in the open air.

There is considerable interest in Travbyen – including from within the construction industry itself. At the first of two industry days on 30 April, KIRKBI opened the doors to Travbyen and invited the industry inside for a behind-the-scenes look at one of Denmark’s most ambitious urban development projects. The next industry day takes place on 7 May, and there are still places available.

On Monday 6 April from 11:00–13:00, we are once again hosting an Open House. Stop by Travbyen as we open the doors, welcome the spring season and invite you inside four fantastic show homes.

In Travbyen, we have just marked an important milestone with a topping-out ceremony at Lerhuset. In keeping with tradition, a topping-out ceremony was held, both to thank the craftsmen for their efforts so far and to mark the start of the next phase.

A large number of children and adults visited Travbyen on Sunday, 15 February, when they were invited to a Shrove Tuesday party with barrel beating, costumes and community spirit.
